I'm noticing a big change on the App Store algorithm...

Whenever a new benchmark becomes available (let's say Day 7 Retention or Day 28 Retention) there's a big shift in rankings.

If your benchmark is in the top percentile, it goes up a lot. And vice-versa.

This always been true but I feel like the weight of this massively increased. Is this how Apple is keeping their rankings clean of low-quality vibecoded apps?
